This would be perfect if i didn’t have to work from noon till closing tomorrow

I really need to finish (slash do) Christmas shopping, and I can’t because my umbrella is in my dorm room. Going outside feels like a really big deal.

"If we consider fashion a window into our culture, we should wonder what it says that so many stylish women have been clomping around like draft horses in giant ankle-boots that are often adorned with buckles, straps and fringe. Fashion publicist Alison Brod pegs booties with skirts as one of the year’s worst looks. ‘No one, I repeat, no one looks sexy in these things,’ she says. ‘They think they do, but they don’t.’"

Vanity Fair, “The Year of Dressing Ridiculously.”

I spent a summer in New Haven, doing a study program at Yale, and I will forever be in love with the library there.  I think every university needs to have a traditional, gothic library with arches like this.

Sterling is absolutely breathtaking, and the Beinecke is just about the coolest place on Earth. Though my favorite part about the Sterling stacks were the dirrrrrrty scribblings in all of the carrels. Get it, nerds!
